Maybo Sponsors Workplace Violence Reduction Awards
Fighting the scourge of on the job harassment and bullying will take centre stage in Birmingham later this spring with the inaugural Workplace Violence Reduction Awards (WVRAs).
As specialists in the reduction of violence, behaviours of concern and restrictive practices, conflict management Maybo has become the Founding Sponsor of the awards taking place on 29th April at Birmingham's Metropole Hotel in the shadow of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
Dedicated to recognising excellence in reducing workplace violence in all its forms and across sectors, the WVRAs will shine a spotlight on individuals and organisations that outperform in promoting safety and well-being in their services.
Bill Fox, chairman of Maybo explains: “These awards recognise outstanding performance by those who have made a positive difference for their employees and for the people their services support and/or interact with. This may involve the safety of lone workers, creation of safe spaces, reduction in behaviours of concern and/or use of restrictive practices.”
